HOW TO DESIGN OUR WEBSITE ?

1) Objectives of our program

   Our aim is to provide future English teachers with information about methods and approaches in English Teaching and so they can improve themselves in their proficiencies.

   We focus on all aspects of language ( listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar, etc. )

 

2) Target users of our program

    We have developed this site for students studying English Language Teaching Department.

    Their proficiency level is advanced. Theya are second grade university students in ELT.

 

3) Contents of our program

   A) In the aspect of presentation

       We plan to presents ‘approach lessons’ and they will cover topics about them.

       There are 16 lessons in our program. They are presented from the most ancient method to the most modern one.

       We will teach how to use these approaches and methods properly.

       We plan to use videos, texts, and pictures.

       We plan to include our lecture notes from the book ‘approaches and methods in language teaching’ by Jack C. Richards and Theodore S. Rodgers.

 

    B) In the aspects of interaction

        Students can study these lessons on their own, watch videos about them and discuss something with other users of this site.

        We have transactional purposes to support our development of computer-assisted language learning activities.

 

4) Desing of our program

   We will use videos about our lessons as visual metarial.

    Text editing, image editing, sound editing, video editing, webpage design, animation design using flash.

    Main menu, calender, our poll, forum, videos, foto albüm.
